 Note: Quote in response to an inquiry will NOT block the calendar for you, others may be interested in the same time - the first one to put down a deposit will have the reservation - all other quotes will be deleted for that time period. This is not a chain - the entire cabin is rented - once a deposit is made, 

We expect you to keep your reservation. We do not keep a back up list - there will not be a refund for no-shows or cancellation within 3 weeks of reservation date, before that time, we will work with you to refund deposit or move date of reservation. 

2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin - fully furnished. Hot tub. WiFi.  Modern Kitchen. Cabin works best for 4 adults. Grills - propane furnished for gas grill, charcoal grill -bring your own charcoal. Central heat and air. Remote controlled gas log fireplace-- turned off during warm/hot months - so that air conditioner will not be used at the same time as fireplace which also warms the living area. Picnic area has fire pit, table and benches behind cabin. Deck wraps 3 sides of cabin. Quiet rural area-- not for loud parties. Pet friendly - with pet fee. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation. Dog pen on grounds can be used - bring a lock for use if desired to put on gate. Supervise dog at all times - never leave unattended unless crated. Horse shoes and ladder ball set up for outdoor games. No smoking inside. Drop all used smoking materials into fire ring - not into the trash inside - and never onto the ground. Washer and dryer. Linens furnished. Cooking and serving utensils in cabinets. 48" HDTV in living area, 43" HDTV in back bedroom - DVD Player hooked up to both. Pull through drive provides plenty of parking. Whisperwind is one of half a dozen cabins on the short cul-de-sac - each on acre lot -- low dust and traffic. The open floor plan of Whisperwind Cabin with bedrooms on the opposite sides of the cabin make it the perfect vacation getaway for a small family or two couples. No check ins will be scheduled to take place on a Holiday -- so that cleaners can have the day off -- plan to arrive the day before -- July 4th, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's. 

This cabin is in a wooded setting where it is possible to enjoy the outdoors and get the feeling of being "in the middle of a forest" and know "civilization" is close by. It is wonderful to step into the hot tub on the back deck - relax - enjoy your personal space -and still be able to keep an eye on the children playing in the back yard or roasting marshmallows at the fire pit or watch the person doing the grilling. There is enough distance between the cabins - not crammed together.

Rural area. Just off main highway. A National Forest, the lake, a state park and a golf course all minutes away.  There is Wildlife roaming in the area. Keep dog under control at all times. Do not bring any stray inside the cabin -- a roaming pet or a wildlife creature.

Keep dog off furniture - clean up after your animal inside and outside.
